El CV anglosajón suele comenzar con una descripción genérica del perfil (profile). En ella se destacan los aspectos más relevantes del perfil profesional (incluyendo funciones, conocimientos y logros). La ventaja de empezar con un perfil general y descriptivo es que puedes dar una visión completa de ti y adecuarla a la oferta. Aquí tienes un ejemplo: aunque se trata de un analista financiero, hay otros inputs que podrían ser válidos para cualquier curriculum:
